Water Lily Tunic

Finally, really finally I finished this tunic for Dianne. I washed and cut the fabric before my Japan trip in March. Then the cut pieces were transported to my new home and spent a month at my dysfunctional sewing corner. The pattern looks very nice as shown on the cover of the book. I really love this pattern. It's just that you have to pick a right weight fabric so the front pleats drape well. I love this water lily print from the Lotus line a lot (sorry, this is the only print available from this collection. Wasn't it the best? ), but it might be a bit heavy for this pattern. Hopefully it fits Dianne well and gets soften later on. I think it will.
