Sew & Tell - Cherie's Nani Iro Top

It's been a while since my last post all together, not to mention Sew & Tell. But, here it is. The very first one this year. I meant to post this sew-along thing called Project Run & Play after learning from Cherie earlier this year. She participated it and actually won a prize for the boy outfit. How exciting is that? I didn't know she was such a tailor. I knew she makes rather simpler dresses and skirts for her little girl, Yuki, but she even makes detailed jackets and pants. Very impressive! She continued to sew something special for Yuki after the sew-along, and this Nani Iro top is my favorite. This material keeps amazing me. And you. It is lovely. Thanks Cherie for sharing.

  1. Very sweet & beautiful work, too! I love how the bicycle print is shown off on the pants & tie (even though it's a bit oversized, so cute!)

The Nani Iro top is gorgeous with the pintucks & covered button & loop. Would be a cute design for an older girl or even grown woman. Cherie is very talented!

I love double-gauze, too. I read somewhere that Nani Iro is coming out with a flannel soon, too, in addition to the double-gauze & knits she makes.
